happy thinking about destroying the Strike Team. As he walked through the building his eyes glanced across to a pretty red head who he had not seen when he had been there before. Who was she? he wondered.
Now he was divorced he couldn't help but wonder what his chances were with her it's not as if she's on the Strike Team as a. He'd met them all the week before all of the slimeballs he was going to enjoy taking down and b. The Strike Team was totally a boys club so here goes nothing he thought as he walked over to her.
"Hi I'm Jon kavanaugh" he said smiling and held his hand out for her to shake.
"Detective Katherine Summers but everyone calls me Katy" katy said smiling back and shaking his hand
boy was he tall she thought but handsome too.
"I was wondering well this is going to sound silly but why haven't I seen
you around here before?" he asked folding his arms and leaning to the side
as he listened to her.
"Well I've been off work for a while personal stuff" Katy said she liked
how he was looking straight in her eyes as they spoke.
"Would you like to have coffee or dinner later as I'm kinda new round here
and would like to get to know some people I mean if thats OK" Jon said suddenly
wondering if she was married or maybe even dating a Strike Team member god forbid!
"Dinner sounds great" kat grinned and gave him a time to meet her after work.
Katy walked out of the clubhouse with Shane after they'd finished work for the
day and they headed out together.
"What you doing tonight?" Shane asked her hoping she was free. He;d always had a thing for her
which every so often became more but for now they were "taking a break.
"I got a date sorry" she kissed him on the cheek knowing what he was after, what he was always after from her.
Katy got outside and smiled when she saw Jon "Hey you" she called to him as she walked over to his car.
"So where you taking me?" she asked.
"Let it be a surprise" he replied and started the engine. They talked all the way there and katy felt
like they were connecting.
As they ate dinner together their eyes remained glued to each others. They made each other laugh and Jon was starting to like her more and more.
"I had a great time" katy sighed as they walked back to his car together arm in arm
"Me too" Jon replied in a husky voice as he pulled her close to him to kiss, making her stand on tiptoe to reach.
But it was worth it as he was an incredible kisser.
They smiled at each other and kissed longer and deeper this time.
When they eventually got in his car it was headed to his place and only his place.
What the hell katy thought,I may be on the Strike Team but I'm allowed some fun.
But Jon still didn't know she was working with Vic and Katy didn't know he was out to bring them
down.
