Hateful Love
After all this time you still won't come with me
You don't belong to him but you still reside by his side
Like an addict to his "love"
But I'm still here
I'm not going to leave
And my world is crumbling to oblivion
Because of the fear that I might live in a place where you might not be
If you take your life and put it in his detestable hands
Why do you do this to me?
To your loving concerned family?
I know you love me and you know I adore you
And I'm still going to be here
Even after your heart stops beating
But during your last shallow breath
My soul will be ripped to shreds by mammoth despair
And all will be lost in the depths of my personal hell
I can't stand it when you hold each other close
For in my mind it's just you and I
In a peaceful world where he doesn't exist
A place where no one can disrupt our love
But you chose him
Even after I pledged my infatuation to you
You chose his frozen unbeating heart
Instead of my warmth and freedom
How I hate his every being
Hate how he has pulled you into to his clutches
With just the simplest gestures and the words I love you
When that should have been me
We would have been right together
But now you have crossed the line
To a place where I can never exist
And my heart just stands broken and bleeding on the snow covered ground
The ground from which only four heartbroken paws now run
Run to the outskirts of my life
Away from the memories of you
Never to return again
