Staring into the battle field where the company of Ultra Marines were approaching from the squad of Fire Warriors, led by their leader, a Cadre Fireblade by the name of Derek. The squad raised their guns, successfully eliminating a couple of terminators which were advancing on their position. A librarian, seeing the terminators fall knew something had to be done about the squad. Reaching into the void he harnessed it's power and cast a physic power. Weaving an illusion he cast it on the squad of Fire Warriors. Suddenly their perception of their leader was muddle and they felt for some reason that he was a traitor. Filled with hate for this traitor in their midst, they converged on him, beating him with their guns. Startled, Derek fell to the ground unable to defend himself and although some of the attacks failed to hit him and most were absorbed by his armour however on the final few hits his armour shattered and as he was beaten by his men these shards of metal were pushed into him, killing him where he writhed on the ground. Satisfied he was dead, the squad reformed and resumed defending their position while their leader lay there on the ground, limp in his death. He cloak lay on the ground below him, slowly darkening from the blood flowing from the fatal wound. The illusion broke and seeing their leader lying dead on the ground, the Fire Warrior Squad were gripped in horror by the realization of what they did. In their rage they charged forward, breaking their entrenchment, and unleashed their full furry on the Librarian, drowning him in the fire from their pulse rifles and so acting out their vengeance.
