Their precious sky
Today is the birth of the sky.
The sky is wide and kind,
Bringing harmony to all the weathers
Accepting them
And their chaotic tendencies.
The bombing storm,
Loyal and harsh.
The slashing rain,
Calming and dangerous.
The loud sun,
Energetic and simple minded.
The bloodthirsty cloud,
Aloof and strong.
The annoying lightning,
Childish and bratty.
The deceiving twin mist,
One demented and sly,
The other shy and innocent.
The sky is their home
And friend.
They share memories,
Both good and bad,
Happy and sad.
They smile and laugh together.
They fight and cry together.
They are a family,
Big and loving.
The sky is pure and innocent,
Nothing can taint it.
Today they come together
And celebrate the birth of the sky.
The weathers also
Celebrate something else
just as special.
For this very day they all
Received a wonderful gift.
That gift is
Their precious sky.
