While Aurora was sleeping on her bed up in the tallest tower in the castle, everybody was looking for the prince to wake her up. Maleficent kidnapped him and she hid him from everybody.
Time passed by and Maleficient went through a lot in her life. She started seeing things differently and analyzing her life. There was a point when she realized that what she was doing was not correct. Her deep thinking led her to the desicion of letting the prince go. She released him from the dungeon where she had him and she left the kingdom.
The prince went to the castle and looked for Aurora. The fairies told him that they though a lot of time had passed and that it was not possible to awake Aurora anymore. Feeling broken, the prince left the castle and started a new life.
Aurora kept asleep as the world move round outsde the castle. The king died and the people in the kingdom decided to move from the place they were living. Everybody took their belongings and left the kingdom.
Aurora was left in the tower, since there was no point of taking her with them. The tower became her grave, and she was left alone, away from everybody.
What nobody knew is that the spell would only last an amount of years. When those years passed, Aurora woke up. She realized that she was left alone, nobody waited for her and everyone thought she was dead.
Aurora tried to leave the tower but she couldn't find a way. After some days, she got desperate and jump from the only window in the tower. She did not survive, but it did not matter, because for the rest of the people she was already dead.
