Sam's skin was just a little darker. Dean held his arm alongside Sam's on the hospital bed. He never looked at Sam's skin anymore. He'd had it memorized when Sam was a baby. He traced a scar on Sam's hand.
Growing up, Dean'd asked Dad about the difference, but all Dad would say is that Sam took after him. Dean wasn't totally convinced until they started fighting 24/7.
He rubbed his eyes. Dad never said who Dean took after. He'd hoped it was Mom.
A monitor beeped and he looked up into blue-green eyes. Those at least were all Sam.
A/N: Not trying to be controversial with the eye color. I have it on the best of authority thatin person, JP's eyes are a dark blue-green.
