Chris woke up the next morning feeling way happier than he ever did in his life. Looking next to him, Jill was fast asleep, a slight smile on her face. The bed sheets were resting on her lower back, leaving some to the imagination. Chris couldn't believe that he and Jill were finally in a relationship after being best friends for so many years.

"Guess God's a lover." He thought. He rolled on top of her and kissed her neck. Jill woke up and groaned in pleasure, raising her head slightly. Chris had her trapped while she was lying on her stomach, and he seemed to like that.

"Easy partner, it's not even 9am yet."

"Never stopped us before." He said, resting his stubbled chin on her shoulder. Jill turned onto her back.

"As much as I would love to stay in bed with you, I have to go to the BSAA base so they can change my deceased status. The commander said 9:30 sharp."

"It's only 8:30. Come on Jill, you know you want to stay just a little longer." Chris whispered in her ear, one of his hands running up her thigh. He grinned to himself when she shivered, knowing that he had persuaded her.

Jill was able to successfully change her vital status and was given her previous rank on the BSAA and control over her full but dormant bank account. When she was leaving, she decided to go shopping for some new clothes and a new haircut. She came home with neater hair and several shopping bags. Chris snorted when he saw her.

"I thought you hated shopping."

"When it comes to getting my life back, I'll make an exception. I bought a few things that you might like Chris." She said, going into the bedroom. Chris raised an eyebrow and smiled, going back to his paperwork. "What are you doing anyway?" Jill came up behind him after putting her new clothes away.

"Just a report on Africa. I talked to the commander last night," Chris stood up and faced her, wrapping his arms around her waist. "He said that as soon as I submit the report, I get two weeks off, just like you, except with a big pay check. How about we go away to Mexico for a week? Base is paying for it." Jill smiled.

"I would love to."
