Ororo's Dream
I idolized him
As we fell through the clouds
To the Earth far below
And around us the starts
Glittered gently and warmly
Whispering to me softly
"Kiss him! Kiss him!"
And I reached out my hand
Caressed his awkward face
With the tips of my fingers
He smiled, lips curving
And he wasn't quite beautiful
But so close that it ached
His eyes reflected the moon
And his skin, it was blue
Cold and imperfect in my grasp
Thin and wiry in my embrace
So, yes I kissed him
Lips chapped and firm
Hands misshapen clutching
And stroking soothingly
Along the side of my head
My hair tangled around him
As we fell
