Let Me Help You
"Hey, Ivan! Are you here?" Anita called into Ivan's house as she entered.
"Yes! I'm in the kitchen!" the tutor called back.
A clattering of dishes followed after. Anita started running toward the kitchen. Ivan was struggling to cook Anita's favorite dish...a boiled egg. Anita started to laugh.
"Y-you mean you can't cook a boiled egg?" Anita asked. "Let me help."
"No. No! I can do it myself!" Ivan snapped. "I just have to-"
The uncooked egg flung across the room and splattered on the wall.
"Not again!" Ivan shouted.
"Yes, um, Ivan, exactly how long have you been trying?" Anita asked.
Ivan muttered something inaudible.
"Hm?"
"Three hours!"
Anita laughed. "Let me help!"
"...Alright. Fine," Ivan said.
Anita took out an egg from her bag. She carefully set it in the boiling water and waited for a bit. Then, she took out the egg form the water.
"See?" Anita asked, showing Ivan the egg.
"Well, now I do!" Ivan said.
"Your welcome," Anita said as she walked out the door.
