Forgiven Angel

Konan floated in a small puddle of blood. She floated above the waters of the hidden rain village. She knew her end was near, but she was terrified of facing the end. Would it hurt? Would she be trapped under the ocean floor forever?

More importantly would God forgive her for her actions over the years? She had hoped during her last years that she had redeemed herself by her actions, though she couldn't be certain of anything anymore. Konan had failed in defeating madara, though he only won by a cheap tactic.

Yahiko. Konan thought of her love. His smile and warm eyes. He founded their organization the atakaski and later traded in his life for hers. How could I have been so weak? It made konan feel worse since she failed to protect nagato.

Nagato Konan always thought of him as her shy little brother. He was always sensitive and protective of both her and yahiko. She never told this to him, but she remembered hearing his vow to protect to protect them both, which broke her heart. It made her feel as if nagato was putting too much of a burden on himself. Since then she vowed to get stronger. What good had she accomplished?

Madara had found out the location of nagato's resting place. He had probably stolen his eyes by now. Nagato I'm sorry. I failed you. I should have done better. The one person that hurt to think about more then both of them was her sense Jiraiya.

Jiraiya sense. He had taken them in when they had nothing when he could have just as easily left them. He had given them food to eat, a roof over their heads, beds to sleep, and even taught them ninjustsu. He was like a second father to them. How had they repaid him? By killing him in cold frozen blood. A part of her always regretted playing a part in killing Jiraiya and she could say with absolute certainty that killing him was agonizingly painful to nagato, though he would do his best to never let her see it. Her eyes began to close Sense You probably don't want to hear it from me. I regret everything I wish I could just start over. This is a dumb question but would you accept my apology? Probably…not.

As she felt the last of her life slipping away and being consumed by darkness, she heard a voice she could not describe. It sounded loud but soft at the same time and all it said was one word

Yes

Who are you? Konan asked hoarsely? As she said though words the sky above grew brighter and brighter, so bright that the light seemed to be consuming her.

Her last sight was the rainbow that stretched above the sky.

How beautiful she thought and then she was gone
