Warm
masculine hands covered emerald colored eyes, removing the sparkling
lights, the softly falling snow seen through the windows, and the
immaculately decorated Christmas tree, soon after the hands came the
smell, the smell that could make Hermione melt in an instance, the
one she had grown so used to her days often felt incomplete with out
it. Slowly reaching up Hermione's petite hands wrapped
around the large masculine ones drawing them away from her eyes so
she could once again see the glimmering room around her, smiling and
turning around Hermione looked up into the blue eyes she loved, the
ones that Hermione could read without effort, the ones that always
had love emitting from them every time his eyes graced her
face. Blushing Hermione looked down she
was wearing a simple strapless emerald green dress that brought out
the green in her eyes, he had always loved it when she wore green,
Opening the
doors and holding it open Hermione stepped through and into the
softly falling snow, and he had been right, there was a warming spell
cast that gave her goose bumps, it was warmer outside then it was
inside, not knowing where he was Hermione spun around and let out a
soft gasp, he was walking towards her but this time something was
different, she didn't know what it was and then it hit her, it was
nerves, she didn't know what could possible make him nervous, but
when he reached her he grabbed her hand and bent down on one knee
causing Hermione's eyes to go wide "Herms." He began
using his special nickname for her, "I love you and have loved you
since the moment my eyes met yours across the room at that cocktail
party three years ago, you're the women I want to spend the rest of
my life with, will you marry me?" he finished before opening a
small black velvet box that inside held a diamond that was so big it
would make any women faint. Nodding her head as tears
slowly started to slide down her face as he slide the ring down her
ring finger, feeling it adjust to her tiny finger only caused
Hermione to tear up more, she was going to be marrying the man she
loved, nothing could take that away from her nothing. And
then there was a flash of green.
