Lorelai: "Luke."

Luke: "Look the spawn has arrived."

Lorelai: "Haha funny."

Luke: "Very funny, I thought."

Lorelai: "Well you thought wrong."

Luke: "Coffee?"

Lorelai: "Always."

Luke poured Lorelai's coffee as he did every morning.

Lorelai: "Luke?"

Luke: "What"

Lorelai: "The coffee."

Luke: "Oh yeah, where's Rory?"

Lorelai: "With Chris."

Lorelai looked into Luke's eyes and saw distraction.
She wondered what for she looked outside but saw nothing un-normal in Stars Hollow.

Luke: "Chris?"

Lorelai: "Christopher, Rory's dad."

Luke: "Oh."

'That's it' Lorelai thought, he was bothered by Christopher.

Lorelai: "Luke?"

Luke (very sarcastically): "Yes, dear?"

Lorelai: "Do you hate Christopher?"

Luke: "I'm walking away now."

Lorelai (throwing her arms up like she's a damsel in distress): "Luke! Luke!"

Luke: "Rory's dad, Christopher?"

Lorelai: "No, Christopher Walkin."

Luke: "I'm walking away again."

Lorelai knew it at that very moment. The whole weirdness with boyfriends,
Luke loved her. She understood it now, every little smile, wink,
and those little house calls he made. Before she knew it, her lips touched his.
Luke dropped the coffee on the floor which splattered all over them. Neither of them cared,
they were in each other's arms, just were they always wanted to be.
But neither of them have realized it before until this moment, where Lorelai gave in,
gave into a secret temptation that lived within the both of them.

Luke: "Lorelai?"

Lorelai (shakes head as she stops from daydreaming): "uhh, what?"

Luke: "You okay?"

Lorelai (smiles): "Yeah, I'm fine."

Luke smiles back at Lorelai, and walks away. 'If only she would give us a chance' Luke thought.
Luke looked back at Lorelai, looked into her into her big beautiful brown eyes and smiled once more.
'How wonderful it would be, to love her.'
