An original Delena short OneShot
Elena was lying on her bed when someone knocked on her window, she went over to the window to see who it was. To her surprise she saw a very familiar face staring into her eyes only to find herself staring back into his icy blue eyes. "What are you doing here Damon?." She asked. "I just wanted to make sure you where okay." He said. "Well I'm fine you can go now." She responded coldly. "Well I guess I should probably go then". When he turned his back and started walking away, she blurted out "Damon wait." He turned around to face her. 'I thought you wanted me to leave." That caught her off guard. "I thought I did, but I want you to stay. Would you like to come inside". She asked afraid that he would say no. "I would like that." He admitted. After a he came inside the house, they sat on the bed and talked for hours. "Its getting pretty late I should let you get some sleep". He said, and as soon as the words left his mouth Elena froze. "No! Stay I don't need to sleep what I need is to know that you still love me." She finally blurted out. "Elena your sleepy and you don't know what your saying, and you should know that I will always love you." Elena was so happy at that moment, she felt like she was melting and then she couldn't lost control of herself and she kissed him. In the beginning she caught Damon off guard, but after he had a minute to process he kissed her back with passion, the kiss was amazing but eventually Elena had to break the kiss because she needed to breathe unlike Damon who was a vampire. "Elena I love you." He said, and after a short moment Elena kissed him again and said. "I love you too Damon!." She said in between kissing him. "But what about Stefan?." He asked, and then he saw Elena's face and he was surprised by the look on her face. She had completely forgotten all about Stefan, but then she said. "I'll tell him in the morning that my heart doesn't belong to him anymore." After that Damon felt like he was the luckiest man alive , and then they kissed again.
