It has been three weeks since coming to this world. Three weeks since the destruction of Bill as well as his home dimension and three weeks since weirdmeggedon. He is now alone, but that would be a lie because he is now living in the same apartment building as Phoenix Wright. At first he thought that it was weird, but he knew that he had no room to talk because he has seen even stranger things. In fact, he has brought a video game character to life but he never would have thought that he would be apart of one. Not that he would tell Phoenix that and he hoped that it would stay that way. He also never hoped that he never had to tell anyone about weirdmeggedon or the weirdness of Gravity Falls.
However when Dipper first met Phoenix he had to tell everyone about it in his testimony during court. After that incident Dipper had everyone agree that whatever he told them must never leave the courtroom. He had to admit that he was glad that there were laws that protected a witnesse's privacy even though that he was the one that was accused to begin with. As to why he was in court in the first place, well, let's just say that it was a story for another another day. Then again Mia was his attorney who defended him in court so he figured that the game has not started yet.
He also saw Phoenix side by side with Mia but he was wearing that pink sweater and thanks to weirdmeggedon, it gave him the creeps. Yikes. Not only that but he still had his old college persona. That creeped him out even more but thankfully Dipper's weird fear actually helped them win the case when they found out that he had PTSD.
'Thanks Bill for messing with my brain.' That was the first thing that Dipper thought when they found out about it. He didn't like the idea of having PTSD but he knew that getting rid of it would take some time and that the only was to make it better was to get rid of the problem. Although Dipper thought that it was funnier when Mia made Phoenix get rid of the sweater. Thank god that he had a shirt underneath. After the trial, Dipper told Mia that he didn't have a home so the female lawyer decided to take him in. Mia then took him to her home and got him settled.
Once settled, he decided to make mission to prevent Phoenix from loosing his attorney badge. If Dipper had to be honest, he really hated that ending. Aside from that, Dipper thought that it was interesting when Mia let him watch her watch the trials from the sidelines. In a way, he was now sort of like her assistant. He liked the idea but he half hoped that he wouldn't be forced into participating in the story line. He has read way too many fanfiction where that kind of thing happened. He also hoped that he would not end up being a Gary Stu.
Yikes. That would be awful. Although he did have the classic tragic backstory and he liked the Ace Attorney series. He shivered at the thought of it and he hoped that while he was here, he would not have to experience weirdmeggedon all over again. That was his biggest concern.
'Calm down Dipper, Bill is dead along with the rest of my universe,' The kid thought as an effort to calm himself down.'You are just being paranoid.'
Dipper then started to close his eyes. After that time flew by and he was no was no longer twelve and the game still has not started yet. He has been waiting four years for the game to start as a matter of fact. He was no longer twelve.
"Time to start the day." Dipper said lazily as he looked at himself in the mirror. However, there were many things about the kid now teenager that has changed over the years and one thing that was different about him was that he no longer had noddle. Now he had some very toned muscles and he only decided to work out because everyone kept teasing him. Although he still wore the hat to cover the birthmark that he had.
He didn't wear it whenever he helped out with the trials though. Outside of court, he wore a light blue jacket, a black t shirt, and blue jeans but when he is in court, he wore a suit just like Phoenix's. The only difference about it was that yellow. He also wore a long sleeve black jacket that fell down to his toes. He couldn't wear the hat in court so instead he had used some of his bangs to cover up the birthmark. As to why he wore a lot of yellow, it was because he wanted to remember the past and hopefully get over his PTSD.
It still required a lot of therapy visits though. In fact those many therapy visits gave him the chance to meet Larry Butz. He thought that he was even stranger in person. The guy had issues and he wasn't surprised that he needed therapy. One time he even ran into him during a group session.
"So, your place tonight?" Larry asked as Dipper saw that the dude was obviously tired. Although if he had to be honest, he thought that Larry was more interested about weirdmeggedon. The teen was glad that no one thought that he was crazy thanks to that incident in court. He still wondered how the weirdness was leaking into this world though. The other thing that the teen found questionable was how Mia could be fine with another one of Lary's unannounced overnight visits.
As they went to his room, Larry noticed that his room had some of his personal belongs back from his old world. He had things like journal number three and some souvineers back from his adventures from when Dipper was little. Larry was curious about the spooky journal that he owned, but then decided that he wasn't going to but in on his personal business. Although with Larry being Larry, he was going to do that anyway. He also had a bookshelf that was books that Phoenix gave him. They were originally Phoenix's but the lawyer told Dipper that he no longer needed them.
That was not the only thing that was interesting about his room and surprisingly, Dipper was also into pop culture, so his room was also filled with games, movies and toys that were popular. Not only that, but somehow Maya convinced the teen to like Steel Samurai so now he has a poster of sais show on his wall. Although the most significant thing about his room was there was a single large mirror. It was there before Mia moved in and everyone agreed that it was creepy but Dipper told everyone that he wanted to keep it because it secretly reminded him of the weirdness of Gravity Falls. He didn't mention Gravity Falls or it's weirdness though.
Right now Dipper was in his room with Maya reading journal number three. Maya was there with him reading a manga. Apparently, Larry was not their only visitor and Dipper swore that she was trying to steel a peek of the journal.
"So what are you reading?" Maya asked only to be ignored but that didn't mean that she was going to give up."I am going to have to go few days so let's hang out sometime.
"Sure whatever." Said Dipper as he wondered how he was going to handle everything that happens in the game. He also wondered how he was going to make sure that Phoenix doesn't loose his badge. Maya, on the other hand, thought that Dipper was weird and that his secrets had secrets. She wasn't sure what to think of him. She didn't know him so she decided that she wasn't going to judge.
"You are so weird. You know that right?" Said Maya. Dipper didn't really care when he discovered that the spirit maiden could be brutally honest but Maya still thought that it was cool that she got him to watch Steel Samurai with her. However, the only thing about Dipper that bothered her was that creepy journal that the teen carries all the time. It was strange to her and it was even stranger to her that he wouldn't even let her read it. One time she even asked Mia about it and whenever she did she would find ways to avoid the topic.
It was strange and that made her even more curious about Dipper but who knows what secrets are about to unfold?
