Forever & Always in Flowerbud Village
I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off and rain hitting the top of my house.
I yawned, stretched and sat up in my bed, shut my alarm off then rolled outta bed and headed for the shower.
As I was walking out of my shower I heard I knock at my door.
I yawned again and headed for the door. When I got there, I flung open the door and demanded grumpily "What do you want?"
Then I heard a gentle chuckling and as I looked up I realized who it was. "O-oh D-docter Alex! I'm sooooo sorry I didn't realize who it was and..." I was cut off when he grabbed my chin gently and placed a finger over my lips.
"It's ok I promise." He then leaned down to give me a gentle sweet kiss on the lips. He smiled at me when I blushed and looked down, then I remembered I was in nothing but a towel.
"Alex could you give me a min?" He grinned widely and said, "Sure babe."
I shut the door, then walked over to my dreeser pulled out my underwear and my usual denim shorts and white tee and pink vest, pulled my hair up into a pony tail then opened the door again and walked past him to go tend my crops. He followed me and said, "So what are you doing this Saturday?"
"Nothing much, you?"
"No, that's why I asked you. You wanna go to the city and see a movie?"
I thought about this for a minute then said, "Sure babe I'll go with you." He smiled again and murmured to me, "Ok see you Saturday." Then he walked away to tend to the good people of Flowerbud. Where I live is a small farming village where everyone knows everybody and everyone takes care of everybody else. I moved here after my father died... But now I'm happy and I will stay here forever.
Later that week on Saturday when Alex and I boarded the boat to go to the city we were watching the sun set from the dock and I turned to him and sighed slightly. "What's wrong babe?" Alex asked. I just frowned a little and said "I don't like leaving Belle when she's pregnant." He frowned to and asked, "You're worrying about a cow, on our date night?"
"Hey! She's not just a cow as you so crudely put it. She's part of my family and I'm worried about her!"
He shrugged and said, "Whatever babe. Let's just enjoy the movie and the ride huh?" I smiled and nodded then snuugled into his chest as we headed for the mainland.
