It was winter in Magnolia. White specs fell slowly to the ground from the grey abyss from up above. The snow was like a blanket on the ground. The trees were bare and shivered every time a breeze went by. All in all, it was a nice, snowy day.

Everyone was cozy in their houses, curled up by their heater or fireplace, and having quality family time. Hot chocolate went around, with big fluffy marshmallows bobbing up and down in it. The Dragneel family was no exception.

The fire crackled and popped as the light illuminated the room. Warmth from the fireplace engulfed three bodies that were present in the room. Silences hung over them, but it was a comfortable silence. It was a cozy atmosphere. No words were needed.

Lucy was clad in a blue sweater and sweatpants. She was on the couch reading a book. Her blonde hair had a shine of orange on it from the illuminations of the fireplace. Her hair sort of looked like a fire itself. Her eyes were focused on the words before her, engulfing all the words and then turning the page.

On the floor was Nashi and her husband, Natsu. Nashi had a pink sweater on with fluffy white pants. Natsu was clad in a black long-sleeved shirt with sweatpants. Both Natsu and Nashi were playing with each, more specifically playing make-believe with Nashi's plushie, Iggy the dragon. They both had a innocent smile on their faces as they played with each other. Often times Natsu would bring in Nashi for a hug and a kiss on her forehead, which she always repaid by giving him a kiss on his cheek. Lucy would sometimes stop her reading and peek over at them and smile, her heart warmed by the sight of them.

It was just like this, Lucy reading and Nashi and Natsu playing, until Nashi asked something.

"I'm cold," Nashi said with her childlike voice.

"Want me to get blankets?" her father asked.

Nashi shook her head, her pink hair swaying. Lucy put down her, wanting to see where this is going. Nashi had a small smile form on her lips.

"I have a better idea."

"What's better than being in a blanket burrito?" Natsu asked with an eyebrow raised. Lucy giggled.

Nashi opened her arms wide with the cutest expression on her face.

"Cuddles!"

"True, cuddling is awesome," Natsu said as he looked in Lucy's direction. He loved cuddling with his wife.

"Not just any cuddles, family cuddles!"

"How would we do that?" Lucy decided to join the conversation.

"Daddy would hug Mommy and Mommy would hug me!" Nashi said happily.

"We can't deny our little princess." Natsu looked in Lucy's direction, smiled, and outstretched his arms.

"Come on Lucy!" Natsu said with his toothy grin.

"Can't say no to cuddles," Lucy said as she sank into Natsu's arms. Warmth instantly engulfed her like a blanket. She let out a sigh and snuggled further into his embrace.

"Me next!"

Nashi went into Lucy's arms and snuggled up to her. In her lap was Iggy, her dragon plushie. Her arms curled around her mother's waist as she hugged Lucy. Lucy's arms went around her while Natsu's arms engulfed them both. It was so comfortable and warm.

"This is better, but I know how to make it better," Natsu said with a confident smile.

"Oh?" Lucy said with an eyebrow raised.

"What is it Daddy!?" Nashi was excited to know.

Natsu grabbed a blanket and wrapped his whole family in it.

"Family cuddles in a blanket burrito!" Natsu exclaimed.

"Natsu, you're impossible," Lucy said with a sigh, but didn't object as curled up to Natsu more.

"YAY!" Nashi exclaimed.

"I love you guys," Natsu said as he kissed his girls' foreheads and rested his head on top of Lucy's.

"Love you Daddy."

"I love you too, Natsu."

After some time, they fell asleep in that position. They all had their arms around each other, basking in each other's warmth.
