Authors note: I do not own Harry Potter or any character you recognize from movies books and otherwise. This is my second fic and I only read constructive comments. Thank you!
It rained that night, it was a voluminous downpour. And it was perfect in his eyes, his green as the lightning-in-the-sky eyes, it suited his melancholic nature. Of all who knew him, none knew of this secret nature of his not Hermione Nor Ron… Dumbledore, not Siri… oh God how he missed him.
Fade to new scene.
As he looked out the window Severus wondered how anyone could be out in weather like this. He himself loved the wild weather, but this was too far, sheet lightning lit the skies above Hogwarts, unlike all he had seen before, with un-natural and un-yielding light and thunder that shook both Heaven and Earth and yet the person never once flinched or moved.
Back outside.
He was soaked to the bone from the rain, he knew he should go in, not to mention that someone was watching him. So slowly he got up from the sitting position he was in on the log, overlooking the lake once more he sighed 'might as well, someone will be looking for me.' He turned and spied a lit candle in one of the windows of the west tower. 'that's strange I didn't realize that the tower was in use.' As he walked into the one place he used to wish was home and now wished he could escape as it was his prison.
Back to Severus
when the figure turned around Severus saw ebony hair, pale complexion, and malachite colored eyes. He knew instantly for whom those eyes belonged and so he considered what could have drawn the childe out into the weather. Checked his candle to make sure it was still burning and left for his dungeons. He would solve the mystery that had presented itself in the morning, he took off his robe and slippers and readied for bed only to be awoken in the night by a phantasm, a night-horror, that left him chilled now if only he could remember what it was about.
short I know but I wrote it in a short time and had to post!
