Tears are the blood of wounded soul.
If the wound is bleeding, life hasn't left the body yet;
if tears are streaming from the eyes, soul is still alive.
Finally, she was there. Her saga was coming to it's end, one last chapter left... But will the end be happy one? She was there, standing not even ten meters from Maple inn's door. She returned home, if it was still her home... After what happened several months before, she wasn't sure. Maybe, she was hated now and had nowhere to go? Well, you wouldn't know if don't try...
She looked at herself. Her hair were now as long as they were when she ran from the lab and they were tangled and dirty, with several small leaves in them, which she brushed away... Her horns were gone now and she couldn't use her vectors anymore, but she didn't care... She was depleted both physically and mentally... Her clothes were dusty and torn from all that she had gone through to return here... To return here...
She did her best to shake dust off her clothes and came up to the door, knocking lightly, silently praying that she was still welcomed there. She heard Wanda barking and stood there waiting patiently for someone.

Kouta was sitting in low armchair looking into inn's garden. He heard Yuka entering living room and putting bowls for dinner on the table. Five. But there were only four of them living there for last months, since she disappeared.
"There is one bowl too much." Girl looked at him.
"She would have wanted to eat too." Yuka said and Kouta sighed.
"You're right..." Even if now he knew who exactly she was, it was still lonely there without her.
They started eating, girls talking about soumen, which Nana tried just now, and other wonderful things in this life, when Kouta heard something - Wanda, Mayu's little dog, was barking. Barking like it was someone familiar, someone she knew.
"Oh? I wonder if we're getting visitors." He rose from his seat. "I'll go and see." He went through now empty house and stooped at it's doors, when he saw female silhouette behind inn's panel door. He slipped his shoes on and did several step to the inn's door when something unexpected happened... Old clock that everybody thought were broken... They started going... "Huh? It's working..." He came up to the inn's door and opened it. And he saw someone he almost lost hope to see again... "Lucy?"

"Lucy?" She snapped from her trans, she sank into while waiting. "Lucy, is that really you?" She looked at him. Kouta. He was just as she remembered him. And there seemed to be no hints of hate in his voice. No. He was just happy to see her again, despite of what she had done in the past... She slowly nodded. "Welcome home, Lucy." And she broke... She fell on his chest crying for all the blood she ever shed, for all tears she ever caused, for all that was her past: she was finally free from it. And he was just holding her in his warm embrace, soothing her...
Yes, it's good to have a place to return...
