A.N: So, this is sort of a prologue for Come with Me because this was mentioned in it. And this was written for two reasons.

1. I could not waste such a good idea.

2. It will work as a sort of teaser for the Come with me story's second chapter that I'm writing. So please review.

Disclaimer: I own nothing. Not the characters, the places, nothing.

It was cold when Astoria walked into the Slytherin common room. The common room, seemed even colder, for it was under a lake. Astoria noticed that there was only one person in the common room. Draco Malfoy.

Her heart secretly skipped a beat. No one knew, but she had, for quite some time, been attracted to Draco. But that had slowly faded away once she had learned of the way their beloved headmaster, professor Dumbledore, had died. That, of course, was something that she could not tell anyone about. No one could know that she had fancied him. She had worked very hard to get away from that feeling. She knew now, that Draco was far too dangerous. He was, after all a Death Eater.

Astoria took a deep breath as she continued her way towards her room. She was very tired and was considering the idea of going to bed, even though it wasn't even nine o'clock in the evening yet. Astoria tried to get pass the couch that Draco was sitting on without being noticed but she failed. She tripped on something and even though she was able to restore her balance, all of her books fell onto the floor making Draco spin around, get up and point his wand at Astoria.

"I'm so sorry. It was an accident", Astoria said. Draco let his hand drop to his side. They knew each other. They had once been friends. When they were children. But they weren't anymore. Not children, not friends, there was nothing between them anymore.

Astoria noticed that Draco looked very pale. But then again, he seemed very pale all the time these days, Astoria thought. It was all because of the Dark Mark. Suddenly. Draco hissed and grabbed his arm. He pulled up his sleeve and Astoria knew what it was all about. He had felt a burn on the dark mark. The Dark Lord had called for him.

Astoria didn't know how but she found herself standing next to Draco. "Are you alright?" she asked. Draco looked up at her and for the first time, Astoria saw fear in his eyes. Something had changed. Draco was no longer proud of being a Death Eater but he was afraid. "No, I'm not" Draco said. "I have to go", he added. Draco started walking away. "Be careful", Astoria said. Draco stopped. It seemed like everything was frozen for a moment. Nothing moved. Astoria wasn't even sure if she was breathing. The Draco turned around and walked to Astoria.

Without saying anything he kissed her. Astoria was shocked at first but soon enough she found herself wrapping her arms around Draco's neck and drowning herself into the kiss. She tried to memorize everything. The way he tasted, the way he kissed her and without her even knowing, Draco was doing the same in his own mind. Memorizing what it felt like, to hold Astoria in his arms. But too soon it was over and Draco pulled away. "I will", he said and Astoria could have sworn that she saw a hint of that cocky, cunning, wicked smile that only the Malfoys were known to posses.

Then he walked away and left Astoria standing there. Frozen. Astoria realized something after Draco had disapeared from her view. If she had had a hard time getting over her chrush on Draco then this, was going to be a whole lot harder to get over. Because now Astoria knew that she had never truly made the feelings for Draco disappear. They were still there, they were always there. Safe, buried in the depths of her heart.

Review Review! Iif this gets lots of reviews I might justwrite a second chapter for COME WITH ME (a story of how Draco and Astoria fell in love and overcame their parents' opinions)
