Author's Note!
Hello my lovelies! This is my first story! Tell me if you like it!
While writing this, I had the book Twilight by Stephenie Meyer next to me the whole time. Every conversation between Bella and Edward and all events are exactly word-for-word as they were first written in Ms. Meyer's book. The only difference is that we get to know what Edward was thinking!
I DON'T OWN TWILIGHT…. SADLY:'(
1. First Sight
Today was like any other day; unbelievably mundane. This had to be the millionth time I had sat through a high school lunch hour. Letting the voices around him take his attention, I focused on one girl; I think her name was Lucy.
I wonder what Isabella is like; everyone says she's shy…. The entire school was fascinated with the new student; Chief Swan's daughter, Isabella Swan. I'd seen her face through many thoughts already today. Tuning out of Lucy's thoughts, I changed my attention to my family. Rosalie and Emmett were staring into each other's eyes intently. Sometimes I couldn't stand to be in the same room with them. My eyes drifted from the love birds to my brother Jasper, his face was tense and he wasn't breathing. Today must be a bad day for him; for all of us really. None of us had fed in weeks. Alice, my favorite sister, held his hand firmly and rubbed his arm affectionately.
Finally, the infamous Isabella, or Bella as she preferred, walked into the cafeteria. A girl named Jessica led her into the room and towards her normal table, on the opposite side of the room as my family's. Jasper groaned as a girl walked by carrying the scent of her blood closer to our table.
"I think I should go," Alice said seeing the distortion on his face as he resisted the urge to feed. She quickly took her dumped her tray into the closest trash can and fled the cafeteria. As Alice and Jasper left, I heard the oh-so-familiar voice of Jessica Stanley's mind; Of course she wants to know about the Cullens. I couldn't help but meet her gaze, then I looked at Bella.
