A/N: I got this idea after watching an episode... Um... yeah. I never thought about this pairing until it came into my head. But, this takes place the night before Aion, Chrno, and the other devils fought against the Duke. (which means it's before Chrno met Rosette and the others...)

"Chrno..."
Dark violet hair blew softly in the wind. The tint of the blood-red moon stained the swiftly flowing feilds' grass with an orangey haze. Everything felt still.
"We'll be free by this time tomorrow..."
Two ruby-red eyes turned softly upon the one speaking.
"...free..." Chrno repeated softly, turning back to look at the moon.
"...yes, Chrno... free..." Aion brought Chrno into his lap gently and leaned into his warmth, latching his arms gently around the sinners' neck as he leant back onto the tree behind him for support.
"Aion..." Chrno whispered, relaxing into the elder male's grasp. "...is this... is it really okay...?"
"It's our dream... remember?" A light whisper fell into Chrno's ears.
"Our... dream..."
"It will happen... don't worry... All you need to do... is trust me..."
A cool breeze blew upon the two as Aion slowly ventured up Chrno's shirt. The smaller demon winced slightly and let his head fall back into Aion's chest.
"I trust you... Aion-sama... No matter what happens... I'll protect you..."
The elder man slowly withdrew his hand from Chrno's chest and brought the teen's body around to face his gaze.
"Chrno... do you love me?"
Two hesitant eyes gazed up into two bold ones. Slowly, the demon opened his mouth to speak, but Aion's smile made him stop.
"A...ion..."
"Shh..." The silver-haired man slowly put his index finger under Chrno's jaw and brought their lips together. Warm saliva seeped slowly through each others mouth. Aion pulled Chrno into a deepening hug and felt his way up Chrno's shirt once more. The younger demon winced at the sudden feel of coolness on his skin, but only leaned in for more. A brief break in the kiss and their eyes met.
"Aishteru... Aion-kun..."
...and the rest was history...
