Karkat looked over his shoulder at the female lying on the floor, covered in that sugary drink and without pants. He knew she was going out with Gamzee and for quite a while, too. But that wasn't what upset him the most, even though it was somewhat upsetting. What upset him the most was the fact that she wasn't telling him about it. Weren't they friends? Weren't friends supposed to tell each other about these things? He scoffed under his breath; maybe those romcoms were lying about that part – he wouldn't know. She has also been avoiding him lately, probably trying to keep him from knowing. Which, doesn't help either. He sighed before getting up and walking to a random cupboard.
Pulling out a towel, he walked back to her and knelt down at her side. Karkat knew she wouldn't wake up, she was far gone. He used the small towel that he had grabbed and used it to write the drink off of her, cleaning her off. Once he was satisfied, he got up and left again for the same cupboard. This time, he grabbed a blanket. While they don't sleep in beds like those odd humans do, the do use the blankets to cuddle with. He brought the blanket back to her and covered her up. He stood there observing her for a moment before he walked back to his computer.
A few hours later, Terezi finally woke up. Karkat could hear her getting up and setting the now folded blanket on the chair next to him. He could feel her gaze on him but he refused to return the gaze. He continued to act uninterested. Finally, he heard her mumble a thanks before turning around and leaving. Karkat turned his head and watch her go, his heart having a sinking feeling, and wondered if he was losing a friend.
