-Prologue-
The world of Remnant is a world with a bloody history. But enough about that, that's not what this story is about. this story is about the outcome of certain events that changed the fate of the world, hence the title. Now, you may be wandering "What happened that caused that kind of change?" Well shut up and I'll tell you. As for the event that changed everything, well that was the death of one Jonathan Arc.
Jonathan Arc was an ex huntsmen who left that career behind to settle down with his civilian wife in a quiet village known as Rockford. Life was good for the Arc family. That was until the Grimm attacked said village. That day Jonathan held back wave after wave of the soulless creatures with nothing but his family sword, Crocea Mors. One would wonder how one death could change the world, right? Well you see dear reader, the death of such a hero inspired Jaune Arc, Jonathan's son, to be Huntsmen. Determined to be a hero worthy of the name Arc, Jaune excelled at being a Hunter, to the point of graduating early from Beacon academy at the age of 15.
Now again you may wonder how this changes anything, well let us see the big picture, yes? Had his father never died, Fate would have run its course and made him just a leader with above average skills besides his strategical mind. He would have been part of some extraordinary events. But he did die, and so Jaune became a prodigy with very few who could match him. But this leaves a question. If Jaune Arc did not become the leader of team JNPR, who took his place as part of this team? Well none other than our protagonist, Damon Onyx, leader of team DNPR(Damper) and this is his story.
