"It's been five years since the infection hit. No one was prepared for it. There was chaos all over the world. All I knew is dead and… and as far as I know… I am the only survivor left in the world"

The twenty year old human raised from his bed and started opening the windows of his R.V. letting the light illuminate the inside of the van. There weren't much stuff except some things he was able to retrieve that were still in a good state like clothes, some DVD's and weapons, not that he needs them anyway since the Omnitrix is enough, but, it's better to be safe than sorry.

He was currently heading to England, using a special transformation his R.V. possessed, hoping to have better luck in this side of the world. He knew it was highly improbable for anyone to be alive but he still wanted to believe he wasn't the only survivor of this plague, that there were other survivors hiding somewhere in the planet. That made him think of Gwen and Kevin, what would have happened if he have gone with them that day in that mission? Would they still be alive?

Flashback

"Come on Tennyson! If we're lucky maybe we'll find one of those weird aliens that have been attacking and Gwen would stop saying things like that we aren't doing any work around!" The older teen tried to reason.

But Ben wasn't going anywhere, not with all the danger there was out there. Besides, he knew Gwen and Kevin could take care of themselves.

"Don't you want to spend some time alone with Gwen?" Ben inquired hoping to convince Kevin to leave him alone.

"Ben this is serious. We need your help" Kevin was starting to lose his patience.

"Not today Kevin"

"You know what Tennyson? Forget it. And you call yourself the "Hero of Heroes". Not much of a Hero." And he stormed out into his car, living Ben looking at the floor out of pity for himself.

"Ben…" Then he looked up. "You know Grandpa wouldn't have wanted you to just give up, you know" She turned around, but before leaving she said to Ben, "We'll call you if we catch anything"

And that was the last time he saw the both of them.

Anyway, it's not like if they would have been able to stop this Metroid infestation. In just some days they took Bellwood city, in weeks the whole country and in less than 4 months the whole planet.

As he started searching the Omnitrix for an alien to use, he noticed the surrounding buildings; obviously the mutated Metroids have been here before moving to find more humans to feed on. He sighted, he still needed to make sure the city was clean, and so with that thought he slammed the Omnitrix's face down and with a flash of green light, he was transformed into Echo Echo.

He separated in 10 squads of 5 to cover more ground. After the 50 clones dispersed, he created another 7 clones to help him activate the loudspeaker with his recorded voice, that way when he was traveling the city in the R.V., if anyone was able hear it, they would know that he was there to help. He haven't tried to send the message through radio, because after the infection started, no one used those things anymore, and the chances that someone else might have a radio and might turn it on, on the station that his message would play in, were slightly none.

"My name is Ben Tennyson. I am a traveling survivor. If you are out there- if anyone is out there- I can provide food, I can provide shelter, I can provide security. If there's anybody out there- anybody- please, you are not alone. My name is…"
