It was March 31st and Odd was walking along a hallway with a strange shine in his eyes. Tomorrow was his favorite day of the whole year. April 1st-the day when you were supposed to play jokes on people. He wanted to get to bed early so he could get up before anyone else and start his plans into action in peace. However, just before he made it to his room, he saw Jeremie walking up to him.
"Oh, hey, Einstein. What are you doing here?" he asked.
"I just wanted to talk to you about something." Jeremie answered.
"Okay. I'm listening." Odd shrugged.
"I just wanted to tell you that I know you're planning something tomorrow."
"What makes you say that?"
"You're you."
"Okay, guilty as charged." Odd answered. "What about it?"
"Nothing much. Just leave me and Aelita out of whatever it is you're doing."
"Why?"
"Because I have a supercomputer which I can use to hack government files, simulate people's voices, edit pictures to a hitherto unknown degree of precision, and a wide range of other things, not to mention control your Lyoko form. And if you do anything-anything-to me or to Aelita-especially to Aelita-I swear I won't rest until I've exhausted every single means of revenge it can provide me with. Got it?"
"Yes." Squeaked Odd in fright.
"Good. So just leave us alone." Jeremie walked out, feeling satisfied.
Odd certainly stayed away from Jeremie and Aelita. In fact he was so scared by Jeremie's threats that he canceled every prank he'd thought of, just on the off chance one of them might accidentally hit one of the geniuses. That year went down in history as the best April Fool's Day Kadic had seen in a long time.
