Ally Dawson sighed. She'd had a bad day. She'd had to deal with several angry customers. Some if them weren't even real customers. One of them was a kid who kept coming back every. Five. Minutes. His name...was Dez. Speaking of Dez...
Dez ran over to Ally. ''Hey, Ally!" he said cheerfully. "Hi, Dez!" Ally replied, yawning. "See what I made!" Dez said, setting a...something on the counter.
Ally backed away. "Uh, Dez, what is that?" Dez smiled. "A Zalien brain!" he shouted gleefully. "Um, okay. And..what is it doing here?" Ally asked carefully.
Dez shrugged. "I just made it. It's awesome, right?!"
Ally looked at the Zalien brain and tried to decide how to answer that. The brain was already leaking purple juice. Before she could answer, however, her Dad came over and interrupted. (She wasn't complaining yet).
"Ally, sweetie, I need you to look after the store today. I have a meeting." Ally sighed. "Okay, Dad." She answered. "Great! Now, Al-ee!"
He had spotted the giant, purple, juice leaking brain. Dez picked it up. "Do you like it, sir?" he asked. "Uh, why, sure!" Lester replied. "Uh...why don't you go show Austin?" he suggested.
"Great idea! Thanks, Lester!"
Before Lester could yell at him for calling him that, Dez turned and the brain got rammed right into Austin. Austin looked down. Dez backed up.
"Uh...oops, sorry buddy" he said. Austin sighed. "Dez!" he complained. "Sorry." he said again. "This is a white shirt!" Austin said.
"With purple on it." Dez said. "With purple stains all over it." Austin said. "No, a big, cool, purple splotch that looks awesome. Cool, huh?" De corrected. Austin looked down at his shirt and back up again. "Hey, you're right!" he said.
Ally rolled her eyes. "Guys!" she interrupted. Austin looked at her. "Oh. yeah, Ally! Wanna come to Mini's with me and Dez?" he asked.
"I can't. I have to watch the store for my Dad." she told them. "Oh, okay. We'll just go without you!" Dez said, starting to run out. Austin put his hand out to stop him. "Well, I'm staying with Ally." He smiled at her. "Thanks, Austin, Dez, but you don't have to do that." Dez shrugged.
"Okay. I wasn't going to stay anyway." He walked out. Austin and Ally stared at him. finally, Ally shook her head.. "Well- oh! I have to help him. Give me a minute, Austin."
She turned towards a customer. "Can I help you?" she asked the guy. ""Yeah, I'm looking for guitars..." Ally showed him where they were and helped him find one. The man paid and walked out.
Ally turned back to Austin. "Okay, I'm done," she said. "I noticed," Austin said with a smile. Suddenly, he looked tense. He looked like he wanted to say something, but was afraid to. Hey, uh, Ally? You know when we agreed to move on and see other people?" he asked nervously. (Episode Princesses and Prizes.)
"Yeah," Ally answered. "Well, uh-"
