A/N: A sappy love poem that I decided to write cuz I had to remove 'I'd Do Anything'. (For more on that, see my bio.) I hope ya'll enjoy it!
Disclaimer: Nothing is mine. Except the poem itself. I wrote it, it's an original work. I don't own the characters, but boy, do I wish I did...thinks perverted thoughts Never mind...
-NOTE- This poem is dedicated to my TWO BEST FRIENDS Vikki and Bob, who's complete and utter randomness helped me with the ending of this sappy love poem. I love you guys so much! -END NOTE-
------------------------------------
As much as I hate to admit it
I can't stand the pain that I go through
When you're not around
When you're gone
The pain is unbearable
And all I ever do is await your return
When you're there
I fight my hardest
Because I have a reason to
I do it to protect you.
When you're not there
The days and nights drag
And I find myself unable to sleep
Even though I can't admit it
I miss you when your gone
I think about you constantly
Even when you're in my sight
Because you're always on my mind
Your bright, cheerful smile
Always cheers me up when I'm down
Even though I can't tell you that to your face
You probably can't believe I'm saying this
Especially since I try so hard to keep images
But I really have to tell you that –

Inuyasha never finished telling Kagome how he really felt. Kagome was tragically possessed by a Yadori Sanagi and pinned him to Goshinboku, just like Kikyou had 50 years before (or so Inuyasha thought). In reality, Kagome was just really pissed off because Inuyasha has ruined her favorite pair of shoes. Inuyasha had not thought that ruining a pair of shoes was a big deal, since the miko never really did much walking anyway. Boy, was that hanyou wrong.
The lesson: Never ruin a girl's shoes. She'll get pissed, and then pin you to a tree, just like your ex-girlfriend!

A/N: HAHA! You weren't exactly expecting that ending, were you? WERE YOU? -pause- I didn't think so...heh heh heh. As I said in my note before the poem began, Vikki and Bob's complete and utter randomness during a chat room conversation inspired the ending of this poem. So...yeah. Please review!
luv ya!
