Unlike other normal day Misaki didn't wake up to her usual warmth, the space beside her was empty and cold and it looks it had been cold for a long time. 'Where is he?' Misaki mentally asked herself, she checked the time, it was only 2am , 'where could he be?' thinking this she got up from their king size bed a hand on her back. She walks into the bathroom and there she sees him, standing in front of a full sized mirror, looking into his reflection. His blonde hair devilish as always but his normal missed filled emerald eyes were now worried . He was in his simple sleeping shorts and a loose full sleeved white shirt, she still standing in doorway, looked at him quietly but after a while, she finally called out...
"Takumi" she called him in a hushed voice, she knew he was worried but she knew she could help him because she was going through the same thing, most nights like him she would stand in front of a mirror and look at her reflection... thinking.
Takumi surprised, looked at her way mildly. "Misaki... what are you doing awake at this hour?" He asked walking towards her.
"Nothing... I just missed you." She hugged him and he rested his head on top of her's, his arms around her waist, they both gently swaying. After few minutes she looked up and saw his eyes closed, she cupped his cheeks and kissed him lightly on the lips.
"Hey, the baby is going to be fine. We went to the doctors and he did say it's nothing to be worried about... remember?" She asked just above a whisper, he just nodded but by the frown visible, she knew he would be worried no matter what... well obviously he'll be worried, the baby he longed to see for nine months was a week late.
He simply placed his hand on her stomach and kneeled, his head against her stomach now, she just threading her fingers through his hair. "Baby, come quickly. Your dada and mama want to see you as soon as possible. Okay?" He knew the baby inside wasn't going to answer but he also knew the baby could listen to him, and just like that the baby simply kicked.
They both knew it's nothing to be worried about, but how could they not worry, it is their first baby and after three years of marriage, they both loved this baby more than they can ever express, so the baby finally showed up in the world a day later. And just like they wanted a surprise, they did have a surprise. They had a little amber and green mixed eyed, dark blonde hair baby girl, a little heart capturing baby they decided to call Asuna Auyazawa Usui.
