You know it to be true, even if sometimes it might seem you have forgotten it. Like when he's being extra annoying, singing too loud and deliberately off key, flirting outrageously with some poor waitress, or being intentionally obtuse about something you know damn well he's well aware of, he's just pretending to be a dumb jock to wind you up.
