"Nico?" I called into the dark woods, expecting a typical son of Hades.
Out of the shadows, he appeared. "Hey Thals, sorry I'm late."
"Why'd you call me here?" I asked, "Most rational people don't call up their friends at 3:00 in the morning and ask them to meet them at the woods." I shivered from the cold.
He narrowed his eyes at me. "Call yourself my best friend? You of all people should know I'm not 'rational' or whatever."
I rolled my eyes. "Oh sorry, I tend to forget, you of all people should know that."
"Hey, you can't beat me at my own game!" Nico stated.
"Can to, you of all people should know that." I said with a smug smile on my face.
"Nico di Angelo never loses, you of all people should know that." He smirked.
"Thalia Grace always wins, you of all people should know that."
"That statement is highly incorrect, you of all people should know that." He advanced on me.
I stepped back. "Nico di Angelo doesn't use big words, you of all people should know that."
He stepped forward. "Well he tries to sound smart, you of all people should know that."
I moved away from him. "Well he tends to fail, you of all people should know that."
"He may fail, but he's still awesome, you of all people should know that."
"Thalia Grace isn't a very good judge of character, you of all people should know that."
"Nico doesn't understand hard words, you of all people should know that." All this time he had been advancing forward and I'd been stepping back.
"He-" but my sentence was muffled by my own scream: I was hanging at the ledge of a cliff. I was so afraid of heights, I started panicking, but thank goodness Nico was there. He pulled me up by the hand and kept holding it, "-will be the death of me, literally, and you of all people should know that."
He laughed. "Well she's got me head over heels, you of all people should know that." Then he cupped my face with his hand and kissed me. I was surprised, but it soon passed and I kissed him back with passion.
"Thalia Grace loves Nico di Angelo, you of all people should know that." I muttered against his lips.
"Nico di Angelo loves Thalia Grace too, you of all people should know that." He murmured, placing another kiss on my lips.
"Hey Nico?" I asked.
"Hmm?"
"Why did you call me here in the first place?"
He shrugged, "I wasn't sleepy so I decided to pull a scary prank on you, but don't worry, the Furies wont show up unless I tell them to."
"You will be the death of me, literally."
He grinned. "And also make you lose."
"What?"
"I won, I finished the game of "you of all people should know that", and you of all people should know that."
I shook my head in disbelief, but this time I didn't' let my temper get the best of me, because if I did, I would be the death of him, and he of all people should know that.
