Dry Bowser and King Boo were both dead beings who rarely hung out together. But given that they were racing around again, the duo decided to do something they haven't... have a good prank. And there was no one better to prank than Toadette, who enjoyed a good joke here and there, with the trio heading to a haunted house as it was nighttime in the Mushroom Kingdom.
"Ooh, I kinda like that you two are taking time out of your infinite time to be together with me!" Toadette exclaimed as she was skipping along while humming. "What's the occasion?"
"No reason. We just wanted to surprise you." Dry Bowser said as he was polishing his bones.
"Oh yeah, it's a good trick that's in store for you!" King Boo chuckled as he moved his disgustingly big tongue all around.
Toadette placed her hands on her face as she let out a squeaky fart in delight. "Golly, that sounds exciting! I wonder what it is!"
Dry Bowser glanced up to see the haunted house with various Boos circling around it, opening the door as he went in first. "Well let's not keep her waiting."
"I'm right behind you!" King Boo chortled as he tapped right in.
Toadette laughed as she clapped her hands together, skipping in as the door shut behind her, making her look around as she sneezed, feeling a chill come across her. "It got cold in here quick! Don't you think so, guys?"
There was no response as Toadette gulped, taking some steps forward as she heard King Boo cackling in the background with the rattling of Dry Bowser's bones. Toadette felt nervous yet excited as she was wondering what she was going to come across... then yelped as a vase fell on her head.
"W-where did that come from!?" Toadette yelped as she felt some sweat coming down her head, placing her right hand on her face. "Was... that intentional?"
"Maybe... but this isn't." King Boo said as he hovered around a bunch of paintings, causing them to shake as he wiggled his tongue around.
Toadette watched the paintings shake as she looked at them with curiosity, having her guard down as she was smacked in the back of her big pink mushroom cap by one of the various bones chucked by Dry Bowser, who was hiding in the shadows.
"This is more fun that I thought," Dry Bowser muttered to himself as he chucked more bones out of his bony frame, taking a bit too much enjoyment out of this.
