Disclaimer: Nothing Like You and I: Inspired by The Perishers' Nothing Like You and I

It began in that little pub just down the way. It was the perfect place really, a half way house so to speak between Eustace's flat and his own. In truth the fact that they had both found it on the same night was both a curse and a blessing, but they were there for the same reason.

It began in that little pub just down the way with one beer, than two, than so many that neither really bothered to count anymore. The silence was perfect really as they each grieved for a love that was lost and would never come back.

It began in that little pub just down the way when one too many became several and the pain was so over whelming that they just needed to feel the touch of another to make them feel alive again. It was the pain that they needed as Edmund shoved Eustace against the back wall of the pub away from prying eyes. They craved that revulsion of having another touch them. They needed the guilt of wondering how their past lovers might feel, seeing them like this. And as the white lights of an angry passion burst in their eyes, two names were shouted to the sky and they were left in the damp dark corner of the little pub down the way where it all began, the sounds of their anguish echoing back to them

I wrote this because I was listening to my iPod on shuffle and The Perishers' Nothing Like You and I came on and I was suddenly hit with inspiration for this. It only took me a few minutes so I'm not sure if it is any good but please R & R.
