AN: Alright! We do not own Gravitation! That out of the way, this story is based on Gravi EX. - Shwee's got the next chapter!
"I won't let you become his slave! I already own your ass!" His idol's words echoed in Shuichi's head. He had no idea of how he was to fix things, or even what to do. Resting his face in his hands, he slumped further in Yuki's couch. He had really thought things with Yuki would be so much smoother now!
He loved Yuki, with all his heart! He'd do anything for him! And he was loved in return…right? No matter how good things went for them, he always had some small doubt. This was a time he dreaded more anything. No matter how many times he tried to fight it, the truth would rear its ugly head. There was no doubt Yuki had stolen his heart, but what did he ever receive in return?
It wasn't a secret he had his doubt about them as a couple. He really tried! He did and would do anything to make Yuki happy, though he always seemed to fail miserably. Not to mention it always appeared their love was one sided. The only times Yuki acted lovingly with him was if he was jealous, or Shuichi had bugged him for weeks. But…was that really love?
Over and over Ryuichi's words swirled in his mind. Each word stung more and more as he realized just how right Sakuma-san was. What redeeming features did Yuki really have? If all he could think of was how he would sometimes forgive him for acting stupid every now and then, was he truly loved in return? It seemed as though Ryuichi was right…
"Gomen, Yuki," quietly he stole from the house, needing to clear his head. So much was going on! What was he supposed to do any way? What was right? Running, he darted through dark streets, lit only by streetlights, he had no destination in mind. Eventually he whipped out his cell, desperately dialing Hiroshi's number. If any one, he'd know what to do!
"Damn it, Hiro…" he growled under his breath as he slumped against a bench he reached. Panting, he sat and tried to catch his breath while cursing his best friend. He was supposed to be there for him, especially in a crisis like this! Besides, he knew that he was too stupid to figure something like this out on his own! The few people that actually were out this late kept their distance, fearing the worse of a kid out this late.
"Shindou-san?"
He had no idea just how long he was lost in thought, startled back to reality by the sound of his boss. "Ah, Seguchi-san!" He immediately tried to wipe the worry off his face.
"What are you doing out this late? Were you kicked out…?" he didn't hide his hope at the last part.
"No, I was just…thinking about some things," he sighed, dropping his gaze. Somehow it was really hard to act cheerful at the moment.
"I see…perhaps you should talk to someone? Give me your cell," he held out his hand at his sudden…command? Not wanting to test his boss (he had an idea of where that would lead), he handed over his phone and just watched as Touma entered a number.
"Thank you?" He checked out the new information when his cell was returned. Who's number was that?
"Just call him, I'm sure he'll help you figure things out," Touma grinned as he walked off, heading straight for Yuki's. What a wonderful night!
Once Touma left, Shuichi sighed again. Hiding his head in his knees, he held his cell out in one hand. "I guess… it wouldn't hurt…" With newfound determination he had the new contact's number called. With slight anxiety with every ring he silently prayed the line was picked up, he forgetting the time of night it was.
The hope he had when the ringing stopped was completely gone as the mystery man answered.
"Hello?"
His eyes widened and his face fell in shock. 'Oh my god!' his mind frantically repeated. "Sa-Sakuma-san?!"
