"Get Out Here Morelli!"
A/R. A/U. not beta'd
Anthony Morelli stumbled out onto his porch, drunk as usual, reeking of his usual Jack Daniel's. "Whacha want Plum," his words slurring while he tried to stand upright to confront one angry Frank Plum.
"Your son took my baby girl into your garage and played choo choo. He fingered my daughter, you sonovabitch. Is that what you've taught your boys to be like? Just like you if I believed all the rumors?"
Morelli squinted his eyes against the sun, a cigarette coming out of the corner of his mouth, ashes about to fall on the immaculate swept porch.
"Which boy we talking 'bout Frank? You know I got two of 'em. And that's two too many for me," Anthony sneered.
"Your little punk ass Joey of course. He's been after all the little girls on our block. Apparently other parents are coming to talk to you, I just got here first is all."
Anthony Morelli let loose a roar and called his youngest boy out on porch. At that very minute, both men could see Joe coming out of the garage with a crying little girl. Who happened to be Shirley, the cousin to Stephanie Plum.
"Boy, what have you done to these little girls?" Frank Plum scooped up the sobbing little girl in his arms.
"The police and child services should be showing up here any time now, it's time your Morelli genes were shut down once and for all. I went straight and called Joe Juniak, you know he's the Chief of Police right?"
Taking out his handkerchief, Frank wiped Shirley's tear streaked face, letting his big arms protect her from what happened.
A police car rolled up and out stepped the Man himself, Juniak.
A woman was with him, looking official with her pant suit wearing the emblem of Child Protective Services.
"Anthony Morelli, you are hereby being arrested for endangering the welfare of a child..." all while leading a now cuffed angry man to the car.
Another car pulled up as the woman softly talked to Shirley still in Frank Plum's arms. "Honey, just tell me what happened..."
Shirley leaned over and whispered in her ear. All the while Joe shuffled his feet standing on the porch beside his mother Angie who just arrived outside to witness the commotion. Anthony soon joined them, hearing his mother's shriek of outrage.
Turning to Angie the woman said in a most brisk voice, "Mrs. Morelli, I'm afraid you and your two sons need to come to the Youth Detention Center. Apparently both boys have been accused of molesting the neighborhood girls, including this little girl right here," tipping her head Shirley's way.
Angie called for her eldest boy, who along with Joe got in the back seat of the car only to be driven to the boy's new home until the age of 18.
Trenton's Youth Detention and Correction Center.
The End.
