Movie Night
Life was getting fairly status quo (life could never be completely boring or worthless with Edward). Alice, Rose, and I were sitting together on the couch. Rosalie was reading the newspaper (I know, shocking!), when Alice all of the sudden bursts out. "Rose, you're going to have an awesome idea! Why don't we go see a movie?" Everyone agreed to do so, just to alleviate the boredom.
We debated back and forth for a while, what type of movie we should go see. Then, I saw one that would be extremely… entertaining to watch from a different perspective. "Hey there's a reshow of Dracula in theatres. Let's go see that." They reluctantly agreed.
Rosalie and Alice walked upstairs to change clothes. I personally saw nothing wrong with my jeans and t-shirt, but, knowing Alice, I followed their lead and went to change.
Thirty minutes later, I was back and dressed to Alice and Rose's standard. They made their elegant entrance into the room. I idly thought about how long it'd take them to get ready without the super speed. As we left we put a note on the table telling the boys what we were doing.
We pulled into the lot and bought our tickets. The good thing about seeing a reshow is that there aren't any previews.
As Dracula's 'harem' appeared on screen, I felt a twitch beside me. I looked over and saw Rosalie's face grimace. Then, when they proceeded to attempt to kill the man, she jumped up and screamed,"Vampire girls aren't that easy!"
I reached over and tried to calm her down. Then I heard someone chuckling a few rows back and saw Emmett, Jasper, and Edward sitting above us.
"See, I told you!" chortled Emmett.
I glared at him while Edward fought laughter that he knew would get him in trouble. His beautiful face suddenly sobered, and he turned to Emmett and said, "Okay, you've had your fun. Now let's get out of here before someone notices."
As we left he grinned at me with that irresistible little smile and told me, "Sorry I didn't warn you. You see, Rose is the vampire equivalent of a feminist."
