Authors Note: Hi, sorry about not posting up any more of my stories or poems. I have been having computer problems so that's why I haven't been able to put them up. Oh, and I have the second and third chapter of 'Kaoru's Birthday' done all I need to do is put it on fanfic.net. Well about this poem, this is how Kenshin feelings about his first love, Tomoe. This is what he still thinks about her even when he is with Kaoru and the rest of his friends.

Tomoe was my one true love.

Why did she have to die?

Did she die because of me?

Is it my fault that she's dead?

No! She died to give me a second chance,

a second chance to love some again.

I'll always remember you Tomoe.

You are my first love.

I love you.

Now I'm neither sad nor alone,

because I have a family now and a loving wife.

It's because of you, you gave me that chance.

Thank you.

Finally I can love her and she loves me for who I am not what I am.

But, you will always be,
