Hiccup Flashback
3-year-old Hiccup was perched up on his father's lap with a tooth-gapped smile and brown messy hair. Valka came and sat beside her husband and placed a plate of meat on the table in front of him, his favourite meal. "Enjoying your vacation from the island, Stoik? Gobber said you needed a wee holiday." She asked him, lifting her son off the Chief's lap. "I think all the stress can really weigh down on me, eh. After all, Chiefdom isn't as easy as it seems." He replied. The family's camping trip was to DunBroch, the kingdom ruled by Stoik's brother, Fergus.
Valka was heavily pregnant and was expecting to have a baby in the next few weeks. "Get back to bed m'love. Yer shouldn't be up with a babe in yer tum." Hiccup ran to his mother and placed his small tubby hands on her stomach. "Is it gunna be a boy?" He asked. "We don't know sweetie. We've just gotta wait and see." She smiled…
"Lets go, bud." 15 year old Hiccup whispered to his Night Fury, Toothless, before they lifted and speared through the air faster than any dragon ever seen. Gobber watched the dragon and his rider soar through the course he had set up for the kids just outside the dragon arena. After a few minutes of the other riders oohing and aahing, Hiccup flew down. "How'd I go? Did I beat my record?" He asked Gobber. "By a minute!" He replied, ticking off Hiccup from the list of contestants. "Go water Toothless and you can be back just in time for the Stamina Event. Better be fast though!" Gobber warned. "Fast? I'll be back before you know it!" He scoffed.
