AN: Hi guys, this is something I wrote a little too late for Teens Involved, but still on time for my church's Youth Service. I decided to keep it a one shot, but if you guys want me to continue it, I'd be very happy to. Enjoy!

I remember that day like it was yesterday. And I still can't figure out whether it was the best or worst day of my life. The day Josh left. Two days earlier he said he had something really important to tell me. I remember saying,

"Sure." So he told me. How I was on my way to hell. Then I said,

"Psshhh. God or whoever could never send a nice person like me to hell." He said there's only one God, and yes He can send me to hell. I was starting to get pretty annoyed, but I tried not to show it, 'cause he's been my best friend since we were two.

Then I said, "Please, you sound like my Grandma. Quite a Bible-thumper she was." He gave me thanks for the compliment. But that it was beside the point. I said,

"What?" That I had apparently sinned, and that I was still going to hell. But there was still hope. Then he told me about some Jew who died on a cross to "take away my sins" and be "forgiven". And after three days the guy came back from the dead. Pfft. Baloney. I told him,

"Sorry Josh. You're my best friend, and I know you believe what you're saying, but I just can't bring myself to believe that." He only had one more thing left to say. That one day he would be taken to Heaven and spared from "God's wrath." And that if I heard about millions of people disappearing for no apparent reason, and if I looked for him but he was gone, that I would know it to be true what he said about the Jew.

Two days later, I remember receiving a text from my friend that her mom was in a car accident because there was no driver in the other car. That all their clothes and things were still there but the person was gone. My eyes widened like saucers and I ran like the wind to Josh's physics classroom. The class was all huddled around something at the back and I pushed through the tight group of people to find Josh's clothes extended on his desk, his glasses were left lying on his chair, still open. I picked up the clothes disbelievingly and looked around the room, just in case he was hiding. The class only watched me in horrid fascination as they too seemed to realise he had left. My best friend, for fourteen years, gone.

Hope you enjoyed! Please tell me what you think in a review, eg. if you wanted me to continue! Thanks for reading and God bless!
