Bill looked at the girl beside him as they entered the Muggle zoo. "You want to see the tigers first, right?"

Hermione grinned and eagerly nodded her head.

Bill laughed and took her head, leading her to map of the layout of the zoo. When they found the tigers on it, it was easy enough for Bill to lead her to them.

He had never thought he would ever go into the Muggle world. He wasn't prejudiced at all, but without someone to guide him, Bill was sure he would do something wrong and stand out as weird to Muggles.

But that was before he began dating Hermione Granger who had made it her mission to teach him everything that had to do with Muggles and their world.

His heart pounded when Hermione smiled up at him. Bill opened his mouth to say something he had never said to a woman but was interrupted by a loud, "Hey!"

Both of them looked towards to the voice and saw a smirking Cormac Mclaggen waving as he came towards them.

"It's... you," Hermione stated disappointedly.

"Yes it is. Happy to see me?" Cormac asked, a smarmy grin on his face.

Bill itched to take out his wand at the look Cormac gave her, as if she was something to be devoured. "No, she isn't," he exclaimed fiercely.

Hermione looked at Bill with an arched eyebrow.

Cormac looked at Bill but turned his attention back to Hermione almost immediately. "Do you always let me speak for you?"

Hermione narrowed his eyes. "Only when he's right."

Bill grinned, and he was once again reminded of how lucky he was for this girl. And he knew he had to do whatever he could to keep her in his life.

"You don't really mean that," Cormac argued.

Bill tugged her hand, thinking the best way to deal with Cormac's obnoxiousness was simply to ignore him. "How about we go find those tigers?"

Hermione understood the hint and nodded.

When they were away from Cormac and could no longer hear his cursing them, Bill finally was able to say what he wanted to say so badly. "I love you," he whispered.

At first, he didn't know if Hermione had heard him, but when they reached the tiger cage, she gazed up at him with sparkling brown eyes. "I love you too."

And Bill's heart had never felt so light.
