"Lilly what are we going to do?" They sat on the couch in the bottom of Miss Glass' house.

"We could move in with my mom." she tried again

"No Lil. I'm not sleeping on the couch again! I deserve to sleep with my wife!"

"Where else are we going to go?" she asked getting frustrated "The streets! You're Dad!"

"LILLY!" he yelled abruptly standing up, pulling his hand up as though to hit her but stopped himself. She jumped away from him startled and frightened. "Lil," he said with a shaky voice "Lilly I'm sorry I didn't mean to." He took a couple steps toward her.

"Don't." she whispered "just leave me alone" she stormed past him and headed for the door.

"You're more like you're father every day." He heard his mom's voice in his head. He closed his eyes and thought back. His parents were splitting up and he had no control over it. He was stuck at camp for 'abusing' Lilly. "It's not like I it you!" he yelled at her. "Abuse isn't always physical" he heard his mom again. He opened his eyes and threw himself on the bed letting a single tear run down his cheek.

"Lilly!" Sam called cheerfully when she saw her friend at the door but toned down when she saw her crying. "What's the matter?"

She let out a faint sob "Josh is mad at me because we have no where to go."

"Lil I'm sure he's not too mad, it's not you're fault you can't control it."

"Sam he yelled at me… he was going to hit me." She finished in a whisper.

Sam said nothing partially from shock. "What… what if I talked to my mom see if she could make up a room for you?"

"No it's alright."

"He was going to hit you!"

"I know Sam, I know. But I have to figure this out myself."

"I'm still asking." Sam continued.

"Thanks." She said realizing Sam knew she wanted to. "Let me know."

"Josh... Josh wake up." Lilly said shaking him gently.

"Hey baby." he said kissing her lightly

"Josh there's one more place we can go..."

"Where?" he asked trying not to sound upset about it.

"Sam and brooks… there parents said they'd fix a room for us and we'd be like part of the family." She said nervously.

"Well that's our best choice yet." He sighed. She leant into him relived. He put his arm around her and kissed the top of her head.

Wrote this out in english; easiest test in the world, still had 45 muinets afterwords. I'm not sure how it's going to come out but I think its off to a good start... Kind of. Anyway R&R
