It wasn't Lindsey's fault she was almost perfect.
She was very pretty. Lindsey had long blond hair, sparkling blue eyes, and not to mentiion she had a nice body with a few curves.
At school, all the girls were jealous of her, and the boys were eating out of the palms of her hands.
But, there was just one flaw about her.
She was dumb.
Although, she never even thought about that she was until today.
Lindsey was in biology doodling on her folder. The teacher, Mr. Lance, was talking about chemicals and how to mix them together to make a substance.
But, as always, Lindsey wasn't paying attention because she was either confused or bored.
The bell rang, and Lindsey got up to go to lunch. "Lindsey Martin, please come up to my desk." Mr. Lance said, motioning Lindsey to come. "What, Mr. Lance?" She said with a sigh.
She really wanted to go to lunch to go talk to her friends, Beth and Heather.
"Well Lindsey, I'm afraid your marks are going down in this period." Mr. Lance said, with a frown on his face. "Huh?" She said, confused. "What I mean is," Mr. Lance started, "is that your failing." "Oh... Ok, I'll try to make it better." She said, not really understanding how she was failing. "Try your best to study Lindsey, because we have a test on chemicals next week." Mr. Lance said with a smile.
"Ok." Lindsey said, and walked away to lunch. She really didn't know how she would get her grades up.
She walked into the lunch room, and walked over the smartest kid in the school.
