Patti's POV:
"KID!" i was looking every where for Kid. He had asked me to go the movies with him the day before. he said be there at 8:00pm. I was so exited! I was finnaly going on a date with the guy i loved!
I arrived at 7:35pm cause i wanted to be early. i was wearing a black skirt and a yellow bluse. i sat on the bench out front and waited for him.
At 8 o'clock i thought he would pull up and yell that he had got here just in time, but he didn't. As the time kept ticking by i began to worry. At 8:30 i was really worried. I took out my phone and called him. But there was no answer. At 9:00 tears started rolling down my cheeks.
'He couldn't have forgot about me, right?' I asked myself. Around 9:45 it began to rain. i should have rain inside to get out of the rain but i didn't. I sat there and cried.
'How could he forget about me? He was the one who asked me on the date! Why would he do this to me?' I cried and cried and cried. Then something unexpected happened.
"P..P..Patti!" A soft voice said in the distance. Patti jumped up. She know that voice. It was Kid.
"KID!" I looked everywhere but couldn't see him. The in the corner of my eye i saw three white stripes. "KID!" i screamed and ran his way. He was walking with a limp and looked beatin up. I grabbed him and helped onto the bench i had been sitting on for hours.
"Im...So...Sorry...P..Patti." is all he could say.
"What happened to you?"I asked while looking at the bruses and cuts on his body.
"S...Soul and Black*Star b..broke the point of the DWMA again and i got really mad. I..I forgot that you weren't with me and tried to fight them without you. B..But it didn't turn out so well this time. But i'll be fine. I promise." He looked up at me with his golden eyes and smiled. "Guess i need you more then i thought."
I smiled one of my huge smiles, and hugged him hugged me back. We sat there hugging each other for a lond while, then i gave him a quite kiss and said,
"I need you more then you know Kid."
