She turned from the shattered remnants of her yellow helmet, her breathing shallow and compressed inside her suit. Everywhere her eyes travelled her buildings were broken, the streets were torn apart and the people who hadn't evacuated were hiding as they cowered.
GoGo's picked up her breathing a bit when she saw Hiro laying almost directly parallel to her. His shattered, small form looked like he was asleep, half-curled away from her. When she tried to see Baymax she found she couldn't move her eyes from Hiro's crumpled form.
"Hiro," she croaked out dryly, "Hiro." GoGo tried reaching for him and in that moment her breath caught. His closed eyes, his relaxed, unsettled features... Tadashi. Tears came pressing up against her eyes and pooling out, "Hiro... Tadashi." she clenched her teeth. It wasn't fair, it wasn't fair! "TADASHI!" Rubble shifted, her eyes stretched open in shock.
No. She looked at her secret love's baby brother with a protective need. "NO!"
GoGo jumped to her feet and drove herself at Yokai.
His hand reached out and caught her shoulder.
Tears spilled out of her eyes, she cried but she could not bring herself to slice him in half. GoGo could not kill him. The young woman breathed heavily looking into the eyes of the man who had killed her first love, who had attempted to kill his brother and their friends.
She peered deep into the eyes of Yokai's mask and her eyes widened.
GoGo could not see his eyes, but she knew he was there.
"Tadashi."
He pressed his gloved finger to her horrified lips in the cloudy, dystopia of San Fransoyko:
"Let me explained," her secret love whispered.
