She didn't want heroes, just him. Just his laugh that could make even the tiniest smile curled her pretty lips no matter how down she felt. Just his smile that made his eye light up with a mischievous glint. Just his toned arms wrapped around her small frame making everything better.

During their journey, the other kept themselves going by thinking of their heroes, but she didn't have any. Her pop certainly wasn't someone to look up to (what with turning Yunie's special place into an attraction!). Her brother was useless and couldn't think of anything besides himself and his need for glory. Buddy was cool and all, but she thought of him like a brother and her brother was no hero.

She didn't really need heroes though, just him. But he wasn't on the airship with them. Sure Yunie was there. They'd defeated sin and saved the world, go them. But he wasn't anywhere to be found to give her a hug and tell her she'd done great. It had been nearly three years since she'd seen him and who knew what he was off doing now.

She was lost in her thoughts as the airship hovered near Djosé, thinking of him and his stupid smile and dumb hair and how she didn't need heroes. Yunie decided that they could use some extra gil and had found some place where they could pocket some serious amounts with a little work, so she was off finding out how they got into the gig.

Moments later, her cousin came into the room with a smile telling her they had some interview. The three of them-her, Yunie and Paine-waited in line for what seemed like hours before being sent inside the temple to wait more. The doors opened and her breath caught in her throat as she saw who entered. It was him...

Later that evening, they stood on the bridge talking about where three years had gone. Her heart ached a little because things had changed. They'd both grown up and things seemed so different now. Until he moved up behind her and wrapped his toned arms around her small frame making everything better and said he'd missed her. Melting against him with a smile, she whispered that she didn't need heroes, just him
