"Hilde's always faithful that I'll find some nice girl that I'll fall in love with. But so far I haven't had any luck at all." Duo waved at a group of giggling girls as they passed by.
Wufei looked skeptical when Duo finally looked back at him. "You flirt so much I'm not surprised."
Duo rolled his eyes and silently imitated Wufei with an annoyed look. Wufei sighed and looked over at the giant clock to see how long before school started.
Duo stuffed his hands in his pockets in hope to keep them warmer from the chilly weather that threatened to get even worse with a thunderstorm. Wufei also jammed his hands into the pockets of his white pants.
Most kids were heading indoors, but Duo and Wufei continued to make their way towards the separate auditorium building. Duo hunched over and planted a tiny bomb while Wufei kept watch to make sure they weren't discovered.
"You're really going all out to make sure this works, aren't you?" Wufei asked as Duo finally finished and they began to head inside for their first period.
"Yeah, well I want to make sure that we get out of here with enough time to get to our gundams and be able to destroy the base before anybody notices we're gone."
"Alright, what time will it go off?" Wufei asked as they neared his first class.
"10:30."
"See you then." Wufei said with a small wave.
"You too." Duo said with a wink and then hurried.
Duo drummed his fingers on his desk impatiently as there was only three minutes till his bomb went off. The teacher droned on about something to do with mathmatics, but Duo wasn't paying attention to him.
When the minute hand went onto the six, there was a sudden tremor that shook most of the school. Duo grinned at all the other kids' confusion and the teacher as he looked shocked that something had dared to interrupt his speech.
"Now, now... Don't panic! Get into a single file line and go to the nearest exit!" The teacher ordered and Duo decided to slip into the front of the line so he would be able to get away quicker.
Groups of kids were in a large mass in the front of the building and some were screaming. Police were starting to gather, and Duo was having trouble finding Wufei.
Duo tried to look over the heads of taller kids, but then decided to just try his luck and slip away to where his gundam was hidden.
As he finally got out of the crowd, Duo saw Wufei was just pushing out at the same time.
"Good, I was worried you got your limbs torn off trying to get out of there!" Duo joked as they started running towards a car they had puposefully left for them to use.
"I'm more experienced at escaping crowds than you think Maxwell." Wufei tried to sound stern, but he still had a smile.
"Well, I still want to make this as quick as possible before they start heading inside." Duo looked worried, but Wufei pointed towards a car he almost rearended.
"It'll take them at least an hour to get everything back together, and that doesn't include the fact that once parents hear they'll come flooding to check if their babies are okay." Wufei sneered as if it really annoyed him.
"At least they have parents..." Duo trailed off and looked distant as he swerved to avoid some glass on the road.
"Don't worry about it, we already have enough to think about." Wufei smiled at Duo again, and watched as Duo also got a wide grin.
"Yeah your right, and that makes two times."
"What?"
"Oh nothing..."
