My first Glee story :3
The sound of thunder woke up Kurt and instantly his body began to react. Goose bumps popped up and his hands became clammy. He sat up gazing at the time; it was nearly three in the morning. Kurt threw his feet over his bed; a flash of lighting brightened his dark room.
KABOOOM!
Kurt yelped and landed on the floor curling up in a ball. "Oh man, oh man," he whispered to himself, he could go to his step mom and dad's room but that would be weird. "Finn's room," Kurt said before jumping up quickly and dashing into his step brother's room.
Another flash of lighting filled up Finn's room Kurt yelped and jumped into the large bed. "wha-?" Finn said sleepily; eyes half open. "Oh it's just me," Kurt smiled, Finn nodded before placing his head back down on his pillow. Kurt let his eyes close before "WAIT WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Suddenly Finn was up in his bed, eyes completely wide.
"Finn, it's not what it looks like," Kurt said "there is a thunder storm,"
He was interrupted by the loud slam of thunder. Kurt flinched and ducted under the covers. "Oh, you're scared," Finn chuckled softly; "don't laugh at me!" Kurt snapped looking away dramatically. Finn chuckled again "its okay, I was scared of thunderstorm," Kurt sniffed "was?" Finn shook his head "my mom always said don't be scared of what can't hurt you; I don't think thunder can hurt you."
Kurt laughed "no, I guess thunder can't but lighting can," Finn shrugged "that is why you don't touch anything that could kill you." He laid back down, "you'll be okay, I promise," Finn smiled. Kurt couldn't help but smile back, "what happens here tonight, though, doesn't leave this room." Kurt rolled his eyes "of course," Finn smiled and closed his eyes.
Kurt laid there for a minute, watching the lighting flash across the walls. He felt Finn's body slump, he'd fallen asleep again. Kurt snuggled closer to his step brothers toned chest, taking in a small inhale of air. 'Fin always smells good,' Kurt pressed his body closer to Finn's. 'I wonder what would have happened, if…" but his mind quickly shut that idea down. He was with Blaine now, but Kurt couldn't help the small tug in his heart.
