"Bed Time"

She looks at her own reflection in her bedroom's mirror as she combs her black hair. She looks like a normal girl in her last junior high year, as the green and white uniform hanging on the wall and near to her bed shows.
Is she, really?
While she's still untangling her hair, the girl thinks about her last adventure. Who'd say that the well of the temple the lives in has a secret that has changed her life for good?
A little fox spirit, almost her adoptive little brother. A girl as beautiful as unlucky who fights to avenge her lost family. Also, a young and perverted monk with a heart of gold and a black hole in his glove-covered hand...
They're the partners that help her in the adventures she lives when she goes to the world beyond the well. And the leader of the group is a young man, half demon and half human, who can be rude and bad-mannered, but (such a wonder!) has a very pure and kind heart. Few people can see that, though.
The girl smiles as she's done with her hair and gets redy for bed time. Tomorrow she'll be back to that world lost in time, with the friends that wait for her. It's a beautiful place, with good and powerful people - but as expected, it's also tainted with evil, filth, and sadness. All because of him.
She finally hops into bed and closes her eyes to dream with her next journey. With a little luck (or more, you see), they'll find a shard of the Shikon Jewel. And if everything goes well...
"Naraku", Kagome thinks before she goes to sleep. "We'll beat you. I swear".
