"Wake up little sister"

She gasped feeling alive again, burned with rage knowing he pierced her with a dagger too many times. Vengeance is all she want hence, a slap reach him hard.

To her surprise, He didn't fight back. She grabs a piece of wood, not feeling satisfied yet, grabbing his collar, she hurl him to the wall.

Again, he didn't respond. He just stands tears forming to his eyes.

Dumbstruck for she never sees him, her brother almighty, now fallen, his features so broken, fragile and exhausted.

"Nik?"

"It's all over Rebekah"

"Nik. I'm here"

She slowly closes the gap between them holding his face with her hand,

"Always and Forever Nik, Always and Forever"

A bond once turned into ashes suddenly arises, making her pray for a new beginning.

A week after…

Mikaelson's Mansion

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you right now. Stefan"

A piece of wood greedily entered on his stomach. He expected this for he knows how seriously he deserves this hatred after all, Stefan did nothing but betray his loyal comrade.

"I need your help"

"YOU! You betrayed me and you have the audacity to ask for my help?!"

He was on the floor again and this time he suffered immensely of his wrath.

At any time now he'll meet death but he swore he would do this. For her, He would rather release his last breath before witnessing her demise.

"She's dying. I need your blood Klaus"

A shrill laugh filled the room, in a blink of an eye he was compressed into the wall.

"I don't care about her any longer Ripper! The instant she turns into a vampire her existence is no longer my concern. So, I propose that before I tear your heart, Get out from my house for I don't have any tolerance left for traitors like you"

"It is not Elena. I did not come here for her. Klaus, Caroline got bitten by Tyler"

Klaus released him, captivated by the beautiful name. Stefan opened his mouth,

"Tyler forces her to come with him but she can't. Klaus she's inlo─"

Klaus face appeared in front of him, his voice dangerously low and his words were spiteful,

"Now, why would I care about the trivial things that you've been blabbing Stefan? I don't care about people who are disloyal to me. I let you and Caroline inside my life thinking that I can trust both of you and what did you do? You betrayed me. So, tell me Stefan, Why should I heal her?"

Klaus was right, he have every right to refuse but the ripper takes no for an answer. Desperately, Stefan surrender to tell the mere reason why he can foolishly signed his own death.

"Because right now Klaus, She's all I've got. Caroline is all I've got"

He chokes down the words, eyes becoming glassy and eventually tears already began.

"Here take this and leave or I swear I would kill you Stefan"

Klaus instantly went back to his room leaving a small bottle with his blood in it.

A month after Stefan's visitation at the Mikaelson's Mansion...

Louvre-Tuileries and Faubourg Saint-Honoré (A mall in Paris)

"It's been four hours Rebekah, haven't you have enough? You purchased a vast amount of garments; my card will deplete by now. Let's go back to the hotel now."

"O don't be absurd Nik, you have castles in Bulgaria, companies in Tokyo and a lot more. This won't cost a fortune for you. And it's my birthday brother you said I can have whatever I want"

He gave up and just slump his body to the sofa.

"Thank goodness for the chairs and champagne! Hurry up little sister before I wreak havoc in here"

Rebekah just rolled her eyes proceeding to the fitting area. Her outfit was perfect. As she was marveling her dress her phone vibrated.

"Spells done, time for the next step. -Elijah"

Rebekah smiled, "Nik, this is the last one. Let's go back to the hotel now."

-Hotel de Louvre-

"Rebekah, where is your key?"

It's really an enigma that he can't grasp, he was holding all the bags his little sister bought and he may be the original hybrid yet he feels the weight of the 'necessities' she required to buy.

"I can't find it Nik. Put it in your room I'm going to the lobby and get some spare key."

"Okay but, be fast, I don't want to pile my room with this. I'm going to sleep."

She heard her utter promising himself never to go shopping with her again as she walks she joyfully spoke to herself,

"Don't worry brother. It's all worth it."

For centuries he exists proclaiming love is nothing but a flaw until he met her, in retrospect, it is quite the irony, a month has already passed but he can't still shake her off in his life.

He is in Paris, one of his favorite places in the world surrounded by food, music, art and culture at that moment he remembers her along with how much he want to show it to her.

Maybe one day she'll let him.

Until the betrayal he received during the events at winter wonderland ensued sealing any chance of happiness for him.

He never really ended his affection for her. No, he just can't, he remembers how she left little bit of herself behind, reminders of how she used her in numerous times.

It's what made things so bittersweet for Klaus; he knows and yet he lets her, hoping that after a myriad of accompanying him, just to distract him from whatever her friends plotted she'll feel something for him.

To his dismay, she responded only in mockery or silence.

Two knocks disrupted his train of thought. As always, his sister had an impeccable timing.

"Oh good you're here. Get your things now little sis-"

But it was not his sister,

"Hello Klaus"

Once again, The blonde took the words from the Alpha's mouth.
