A hot breath releases from a sleeping troll's mouth. This is none other then, Karkat Vantas.

His red eyes are closed, and his arms is danging losly over the edge of his couch, where he has fell asleep. That was a few seconds ago. Now the nubby horned troll, sits up, and rubs his eyes. It takes a moment for him to adjust to the li- wait a minute. He had left his kitchen light and his living room light on. Now they were both off. Did he turn them off and just forget? No he was sure he left them on.

He got up and headed over for the light switch of the living room, and flipped it up. It already was up. Maybe the light bulb blew? He wondered into the kitchen, and flipped on the light. But once again it was already up, but the light wasnt on. He knew both of the light bulbs couldnt be out he had just replaced the damn things.

Still wondering of what the fuck happened to all the lights, the troll made his way to the curtains of his living room. Pulling the fabric out of the way he was shocked to see, that the whole city, every single building, lamp post, everything, was out. A city of darkness.
His eyes widen and he gets his shoes, heading outside. It was still night time, making matters worse of it being dark outside. He looks at the darkness and watches the last light of the city go out. It was complete and udder darkness.

Not even knowing what he was doing, the Vantas picks up his feet, running to the one person who might, who might know what was going on. Sollux Captor. He knew of technology so maybe he could get the power back on. No Sollux needed to get the power back on, maybe wasn't a fuckin option. His red eyes wonder the street and look left and right for the apartment building of Sollux Captor.

Apon finding it, he watches trolls step out from their homes wondering what was going on. He made his way up the stairs, to the room, numbered 22 and didn't bother to knock and just opened the door.
"Sollux." He stated rather firmly. A small light came from a computer, but went off. A figure immediately started yelling.
"Damn it! NO, thon of a bitch, I wath working on that all fucking night!" Did he not notice that the whole city was without power. Karkat cleared his throat and then spoke.
"YOu fucking idiot. The whole god damn city is without god damn power." He said point to the window, and Sollux turned his head looking at the city.
Sollux utterd only one thing. "I knew it."
