Thoughts of Chad:
Something about him made her stop and think, although often she wasn't sure exactly what she was thinking about. It was just him. Of course she would never admit she was thinking about him. There was too much rivalry between them, even if a lot of it was friendly.
Chad Dylan Cooper was stunningly cute and of course he knew it. He was probably the vainest guy to ever walk the planet. He seemed to think his face was the most amazing thing ever. It didn't help either that McKenzie Falls fans agreed with that fact. What helped even less was that his face with that innocent looking smile was stuck in Sonny Monroe's head and she didn't even know why.
Sonny smiled as she thought about what Chad would say if he knew he was on her mind. 'Well, Sonny, it's hardly surprising is it? I mean, it is me: Chad Dylan Cooper.' She giggled to herself, glad to herself, glad to be on her own so no one would think she was crazy for laughing at nothing. How in the world would Chad cope without his looks, she wondered, and could easily imagine him becoming a recluse who wouldn't let anyone see him. She almost shuddered at the thought. She liked Chad the way he was, she didn't want to even imagine him as an ugly recluse.
Not that she was admitting that she liked Chad. Of course not, that would just be crazy. She wasn't one for putting her heart on the line, the only time she would admit to liking Chad would be after Chad told her he liked her. And that was never going to happen. The only person Chad Dylan Cooper liked was Chad Dylan Cooper. Sadly.
